The George Hotel, Edinburgh
The elegant George Hotel is set on one of the Scottish capital’s main shopping and commercial centres – George Street. Set against the backdrop of the peaceful greenery of Russell Square, the Hotel Russell offers an excellent location at the heart of London. The hotel is particularly large and features an attractive facade from its position in the upmarket Bloomsbury district. The hotel was built at the end of the 19th century in a Victorian renaissance style and takes up an elegant terracotta colour around its exterior. Kenwood Hall, Sheffield
The Kenwood Hall boasts a top location amid 12 acres of green parkland which includes trees and lakes, and yet is just a mile from Sheffield’s city centre. The hotel, formerly the Sheffield Marriott, is partly traditional and partly modern depending on the area you are in. The conference facilities show a more up-to-date side, while other areas offer a glimpse of the structure’s past. Thanks to its surroundings, the hotel boasts excellent views from its windows, while inside the venue is also impressively designed and furnished. Meanwhile, it is easy to reach the nearby countryside as well as the businesses and attractions of Sheffield.
La Mola, Barcelona
La Mola Hotel is one of the most recent Principal Hayley venues to open; it began to welcome guests from the end of 2008 and joined Chateau Saint Just as the first hotels from the group to open outside the United Kingdom. La Mola is set next to a natural park in Terrassa and is situated approximately 30 minutes from Spain’s second city, Barcelona. From its position in the countryside the hotel has a vast area of meeting and event space which covers more than 4,000 square metres. It is also next to a golf course and so if guests are looking to relax over a round they have the perfect opportunity to do so.
Chateau Saint Just
The Chateau Saint Just was one of the first venues from the group to be opened on non-UK soil and takes up an ideal position just outside the French capital, Paris. It does, however, fit in well with the traditional and stylish nature of many of the group’s other venues with its castle-like structure and its modern facilities. The hotel is ideal for conferences thanks to its extensive facilities which cover 2,000 square metres of floor space. It is located in a peaceful and tranquil part of France, approximately 45 minutes outside the centre of Paris and around 25 minutes from the Charles de Gaulle Airport.
